Current state and future


I wanted to provide a comprehensive overview of what’s currently implemented in the game, what’s planned for the near future, and give you a rough timeline for when to expect the alpha release.

Currently Implemented (and being improved):

  1. Inventory System
  2. Crafting System
  3. World tiles
  4. Building System
  5. Drop System
  6. Gathering System
  7. Level Upgrades
  8. Multiple enemy types

All of these features are already in the game, though they still need significant polishing and testing. I won’t go into too much detail to avoid spoiling your discovery process once you start playing.

Planned Additions Before the Initial Alpha Release:

  1. Art Design (for enemies, UI, buildings, etc.)
  2. Sound Design (sound effects, music, and ambience)
  3. Progression System Setup
  4. Story/Lore Development
  5. Tutorial Implementation
  6. Tech Tree Introduction
  7. "The other side"

In addition to these planned features, I’ll be enhancing the current systems and weaving in a proper story arc for you to enjoy. These tasks always seem to take longer than expected, but quality is my top priority.

Right now, I’m aiming to have a solid, playable version ready in the next 6 months. When it’s ready—or close to it—I’ll share updates here or on Steam.
